The app utilizes GPS technology to log location information while simultaneously capturing sensor data.

The WASP Util app serves primarily to configure WASP modules, monitor the ANT+/BLE data received from the WASPs connected to the ANTwork, and facilitate the collection of ANT+/BLE data for offline analysis.

The WASP modules function as ANT/BLE Wi-Fi bridge devices. Any information transmitted by an ANT+/BLE sensor within range of a WASP is relayed to the Wi-Fi network for integration with iOS devices. Multiple iOS devices can access this data concurrently, and it can also be directed to a routable endpoint on the web.

The WASP Util app offers four distinct areas of functionality at no cost:

This utility employs location-based services to log location throughout a session. Persistent use of GPS running in the background may significantly deplete battery life.

The option for In-App Purchases enables access to additional features and functionalities such as:

• WASP Relay: Connects to BLE devices and forwards the data to a virtual WASP, allowing it to appear in display applications like standard ANT+ sensors.
• WASP Reflector: Allows monitoring of WASP data through the NPE Cloud Reflector, making it accessible from any location.
• WASP Simulator: Simulates multiple ANT+ devices to support development, testing, and stress-testing of applications.
